Slow-cooker bbq pulled chicken

Today I made slow-cooker bbq pulled chicken sandwiches. I love using the slow-cooker since I am not a fan of cooking and lengthy recipes lately. Instead, I enjoy simple recipes that would also make good leftovers for lunch the next day. This recipe was easy to make and perfect for a quick prep dinner on days when you do not want to be in the kitchen too long or need a quick recipe if you do not feel like cooking. The fact that it is a crockpot recipe made me even more excited to make it today.
Here are the Ingredients for Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken:
3 lbs (approximately 5-6 count) boneless, skinless chicken breasts;trimmed of fat
1 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce (I use Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ)
1/2 medium onion, grated
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar

How to Make Crockpot BBQ Chicken:

1. Stir together all sauce ingredients in a 5-6 qt slow cooker.
2. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 – 7 hours. Chicken is done when cooked through and easy to shred.
3. Shred chicken with fork in crockpot before serving or Remove chicken to a cutting board and shred each breast using two forks. Place shredded chicken back in the crock pot and stir to coat with the yummy sauce.

4.Serve with your choice on your favorite brand of hamburger buns. For sides; you may want to try vegetables, potato salad, fries or baked beans.
